General Information
 

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is an independent United States government agency, directly responsible to Congress. The FCC was established by the Communications Act of 1934 and is charged with regulating interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite and cable. The FCC's jurisdiction covers the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. possessions.

 

Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulates electromagnetic interference(EMI) that is generated by key electrical and electronic products as a part of means of management of efficient utilization of electric wave resources. Such regulations are implemented in accordance with Federal Communications Law. In the event of infringement of such law, powerful disciplinary actions will be followed through out all aspects in relations to the product including import, sales, exhibition, advertisement and distribution. Therefore, it is not possible to export the product to USA without the FCC certification on the relevant products and as such acquisition of FCC certification is essential.

FCC is responsible for fortification of competitiveness of the communications market and protection of public interest. FCC is independent representative authority of the government that develops policies on state and international communications through wireless system, TV, satellite and cable with authority given by the Parliament.
